Privacy Policy

Last updated 31 August 2026

CyberLiphe is a private notebook for your own life. This page explains, in plain language, what we keep, what we never keep, and what we never do with it.

The short version

  • We do not sell your information. Ever, to anyone, for any price.
  • We do not share your entries with advertisers, data brokers or marketing partners.
  • We do not connect to your Google, Outlook, bank or any other account. There is nothing for us to log into.
  • Screenshots you paste are read once to pull out the details and are not stored on our servers.
  • Your passcodes and codes are encrypted on your own device behind your PIN. We cannot read them and cannot recover them for you.

What we store

  • Your account email and password, handled by our authentication provider. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash.
  • The entries you type or confirm — the notes, dates, amounts and lists you choose to keep in your panels — so they are there when you sign back in.
  • Your layout choices: which panels are shown, hidden, renamed or reordered.
  • Basic membership state (active, trialing, ended) so we know whether to let you in.

What we never store

  • The image files of screenshots or photos you paste. They are processed for text and then discarded; only the fields you keep remain.
  • Your card number, expiry or security code. Payments run entirely inside Stripe and we never see the card.
  • Passwords, PINs or codes in the protected vault in readable form. They are encrypted with a key derived from your PIN, on your device.
  • Logins or tokens for any outside service, because we do not connect to any.

Your PIN

The vault PIN is chosen by you and never leaves your device. That is what makes the vault private — and it also means that if you forget the PIN, nobody, including us, can unlock or restore those entries. Keep a copy somewhere safe and offline.

Who processes data for us

We use a small number of service providers strictly to run the product, not to market to you:

  • A managed database and authentication provider, which hosts your account and entries.
  • Stripe, which handles subscriptions and all card details.
  • An AI text-extraction service, which receives a pasted image only at the moment you paste it, purely to read the text back to you.

Your choices

  • You can edit or delete any entry at any time, and deletion removes it from our database.
  • You can close your account by writing to support@cyberliphe.com; we delete your account and its entries.
  • You can cancel your membership at any time from the Stripe billing portal inside your account menu.

Children

CyberLiphe is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
